The first single, “Hiding in Shadows” (released in early summer 2021) has several key hallmarks of the Defy The Tyrants sound that include circle head banging beats, After The Burial-esque riffs, dual guitar solos, and an emotive performance courtesy of Salazar, Defy has released a song that is both familiar yet fresh for longtime fans. Defy The Tyrants promises a bigger project on the horizon that is 2022 and assures new and old fans alike to hang tight because the ride is just beginning.
