He said, “After college I began battling with alcohol addiction and living that Rez Life. I found my sobriety by mentoring youth for the Beats lyrics Leaders program out of Portland, Oregon. I soon was asked to be a head chaperone and help teach the youth about the music industry. I began learning with the writing workshops and help from other mentors to help build my own music along with youth. I soon released the album Rez Life which was nominated for Best Hip Hop Album and Best Music Video at the 2016 Native American Music Awards. To this day I still mentor youth and create music.”
