Over the course of 3 years, Norweigan electronic producer Joa490 has experimented with the sounds of future, progressive, and tropical house to create his own hypnotizing brand of festival-ready EDM.
Born and raised in Moi, Norway, Joa490 was first inspired to make music after listening to fellow Scandinavian producers Avicii and Kygo – his idols. Using FL Studio 20, he started releasing remixes of popular EDM songs on YouTube (including “In the Name of Love” by Martin Garrix and “Stargazing” by Kygo) before eventually releasing his first official song, “Life”, in 2018.In May 2019, Joa490 released the Brooks-inspired single “Fame”, a future bounce song that has since racked up over 17,000 streams on Spotify alone. It was also played during Lollapalooza 2019 in Berlin, exposing his music to a wider audience than ever before.Joa490 isn’t stopping there. He plans to work even harder, releasing more songs, remixes, and possibly even a full-length project in the near future.
