Vacuum Eyes was born in Wisconsin, United States. Vacuum Eyes is a downtempo, pop project produced by Nolan Capek. He has been residing and making music in northeast Wisconsin for the past 6 years. Echoing atmospheres, 808 beats, female vocal features, and airy synths define Vacuum Eyes’ sound. Nolan has been influenced by the works of Carbon Based Lifeforms, Emancipator, and Tycho. Nolan spent much of his early childhood in nature (the Northwoods of Wisconsin), where he felt a strong connection. However, after his parents’ divorce, he experienced the contrast of living in the suburbs of Madison, WI, where he was exposed to new styles of music. Later on, he attended UW Oshkosh and studied fine art photography. Nolan combines his skill as a photographer and his love of the outdoors to create thematic, nature-based artwork for his music. Throughout his time as a producer, Nolan has released several albums and EPs of various genres. For Vacuum Eyes, he is using new and different strategies to create a fresh sound unlike any of the music he’s created before. Currently, he is working on pop singles with downtempo, ambient, and chill beat elements.
