I’ve taken inspiration and attentive focus to hip hop since a young child, probably 5 or 6 when I first heard Snoop or Eminem. I struggled through life having a father who was addicted to crack so I began writing to purge emotions that were otherwise hard to contain. I wrote my first (albeit, garbage) song at the age of 11, finding joy in wordplay and pushing the rhythmic capabilities as far as I could. Now in 2021 here I am recording and learning how to create my own music from scratch, using the knowledge gained from simply listening to hip hop.
